The Kingfisher Rescue Gang
The last day of the Kingfisher Rescue Gang project happened today, 23rd November...and the KRG spent the day climbing trees, clearing up nature areas of litter, looking at pond life, drinking hot chocolate, building fires and shelters...wow! What a day! It has been a great six weeks and the KRG have learnt so much about nature and their immediate environment.
Did you know there is a secret woodland a few metres from our school? Or that there is a pond a very short walk from our school where wildlife is teaming! Be careful as you tread around there as the toads are just starting to hibernate!
Thank you to Jane, Ella and her team and to Ms Brown for supporting the work of the KRG!
Here are a few of the adventures from today!
