Year 3 Build Trains
This term year 3 have been learning about Railways.....they created a railway carriage in their classroom, experiencing ticket collectors, train drivers and the tea trolley. They visited The London Transport Museum at Acton and learnt about vehicles and travel from a by-gone age.
Today the children rode on the Polar Express in their PJs and slurped hot chocolate! The children were a little concerned that they wouldn't be back in time for Christmas, but luckily, they arrived back in school an hour later!
And then they made wooden trains this afternoon..each piece expertly made by Mr Brown. The children were so focused and engaged in their task! What a brilliant day and what an amazing end to their topic on Railways.
