Year 1 have tea with the Queen's butler

On Friday Year 1 had a very special visitor. Richard, the Queen's butler.  He told them all about his job at Buckingham Palace and answered all of the childrens' questions.

The children had written letters to the Queen which Richard will deliver to Her Majesty.

It was a very special afternoon which ended with afternoon tea for everyone - including cucumber sandwiches!
