FULL SCHOOL CLOSURE
As you are aware, the NEU has called upon its members to take strike action on four dates this year, the first being on 1st February. The NEU quotes: We strike for our schools to be properly funded and for teachers to be properly paid. 1 in 8 teachers leave the profession within the 1st year, 1 in 3 in 5 years.”
I have put out two sets of scenarios and as new information has come to light I have had to risk assess the impact and make amendments to my decision. I apologise for the confusion this may have caused.
New information has come to light today and after reviewing the advice from the LA and DFE, speaking with Ealing HR, reviewing the risk assessment and discussing the impact of the action with the Chair of Governors, I have decided to fully close the school as I cannot guarantee the health and safety of those children who may attend.
Please make alternative child care arrangements for your child/ren on the following dates:
1st February,
2nd March
15th March
16th March
