Outdoor Fun!

What a week it's been!

The installation of the new equipment on the upper playground is underway and finally our scooter track and the rest of the playground markings are in place.

It was a joy to see so many children get the chance to enjoy the scooters at playtime - and wow do they whizz around the new scooter track.  We've had fun and games with the giant times table grid, hopscotch and dancing!  Added to the Smooga, the gym, the table tennis and the badminton - there must be something for everyone.

Also this week was the first meeting of the Mayfield Nature Club, the children made bird feeders from pine cones to hang in the nature garden and spent a peaceful time bird-watching.
