Mayfield awarded Eco-Schools status

Mrs Sibuns and her trustee Eco-Team, which includes a crew of dedicated pupils and Mr Bruno, have worked tirelessly over the last year to keep Mayfield on track to a lower carbon footprint.

The team have worked across lots of different areas including reducing landfill and recycling more paper and plastic as well as recycling food waste in our new composter. 

They have raised awareness of how we can work as a community to make more sustainable choices.

The team have worked along side Ms Arundell and our Junior Travel Ambassadors too, encouraging pupils and parents to walk and not park near school.

 

We couldn't be more proud and look forward to continuing on this journey.
