Mayfield Big Walk and Wheel
Mayfield is taking part in the newly branded Big Walk and Wheel (formerly the Big Pedal).
We want as many children, parents and staff as possible coming to school by cycle, scooter or by foot from 21st March to the 1st April.
We have a brilliant record with this national event and have won some amazing prizes for the school - including scooters and trick bike demonstrations!
There will be lots of mini competitions within the school day - such as the Golden Lock when a luck cyclist or scooterist can win a prize, or a class scooter disco for the class with the highest number of sustainable journeys and even some staff scoot sessions (who doesn't want to see their class teacher whizzing around the scooter track?).
