Mayfield Big Pedal - Friday 23rd April - Friday 30th April
Mayfield is taking part in the annual Big Pedal - where schools across the country count every journey their pupils, parents and staff take to and from school by foot, scooter or bike. Every journey counts and a daily leader board is published.
We have won the competition before as well as being regional champions - we're sure we can do it again!
The class with the most sustainable journeys over the week will also win a class prize.
There'll be a Golden Lock prize each day where a cycle or scooter is chosen at random and whoever it belongs to gets a prize. On Friday 30th we're having a Soup Up Your Cycle, Scooter or Shoes competition where children can decorate their modes of transport.
It would be great to see lots of parents on bikes and scooters too!
