Remote Learning

Government guidance sets out changes to how schools will live and work with COVID-19 from April 1st 2021:

  • remote learning is no longer required;
  • children who are unwell and have a high temperature should stay at home and avoid contact with other people. Children can come back to school when they no longer have a high temperature, and they are well enough to attend;
  • children with a positive COVID-19 test result should stay at home for 3 days and until they no longer have a temperature.

Remote learning for pupils at home ended on 1st April 2021. Teachers have now stopped online lessons and/or setting assignments in Teams.

Should remote learning be required in the future, the school will initially refer children to Government websites such as Oak Academy whilst previous systems for remote learning are established.

Pupils who stay at home because they are unwell need time to rest and recover.
